His family moved to the United States when he was a young child. His parents tried to set a good example for Gavrieli and his siblings. They moved to Los Angeles in San Francisco to improve their children’s lives by building a successful business from the start.

Acts of heroism in everyday life

During the COVID -19 period, the company initiated the Operation #SewTogether campaign, which significantly impacted PPE to the healthcare workers and community at large. The campaign utilized social media as a viable tool to encourage its followers and fans to unite with the company’s staff and bring forth a myriad of face masks to vitally important healthcare workers. They also encouraged their fans to continue with the good work. The awareness led to the donation of more than a million faces to health workers in Los Angeles County and beyond.

In case of an outbreak, Gavrieli’s friend informed him of the lack of masks. This brings the need to protect professionals in the health front line. Kfir Gavrieli motivated Tieks team to produce and supply protective equipment in the form of a face mask. He also partnered with local businesses to provide health workers with N95 masks.
